Only a few months after his arrival, former Springbok Flip van der Merwe announced this Thursday morning that he was leaving Olympic due to disagreements.

Flip van der Merwe is no longer a member of the Biarritz Olympic board. The former Springbok (39 years old (39 years old, 37 caps) announced in a message this Thursday morning that he was leaving Olympic Biarritz after strategic disagreements. “When there are too many cooks, it spoils the recipehe says in his press release. He arrived last April and took on the role of chairman of the board after his election. In July, he was replaced in this position by Arnaud Dubois. “I leave the club in a better position than it was when I found it, and I am proud of that”he concludes.
