Suspended for a few more years following his doping case, Paul Pogba is determined not to abandon the world of football. The midfielder who still belongs to Juventus wants to come back even stronger and there is no question of retiring.

During a long interview given to the media ‘Sky Sports’, Paul Pogba has spoken out and he seems to have found his taste for life again. “I am very happy to feel the love of people. Today (Monday, editor’s note) I came to see the France match, I saw the fans, I felt a great love, it made me very happy because I was away from the pitch for a while, hearing people sing my name, it’s a pleasure,” he first said after attending the round of 16 of the Blues against Belgium.

“If you haven’t seen one of my interviews where I say I’m retiring, it’s because I’m not, because I still feel like a footballer. I want to fight against this injustice. Pogba is not finished, Pogba is here and as long as you don’t see me saying that I’m finished, don’t worry. I have an incredible desire to come back, I feel like a child who wants to be professional. I train, I do everything I can to get back on the pitch,” added the 2018 world champion.

Asked about his future and his contract at Juventus until 2026, Paul Pogba replied: “I have a contract, but I haven’t had the chance to speak to the director and the coach. It’s silence there. I think they are waiting for the result of the appeal, but you have to ask them.”
