Two years after the integration of the Freeride World Tour (FWT) into the International Ski Federation (FIS), the creation of World Championships like those in alpine skiing was announced on Tuesday at a press conference, in cross-country skiing, freestyle… “The event constitutes our best product in each of our disciplines,” underlined the general secretary of the FIS, Michel Vion. I am very confident that this will also work for freeride, where everything is always very well organized.”
