After being selected 55th overall in the 2024 Draft, Bronny James was still not guaranteed to play in the NBA, as players selected in the 2nd round of the Draft do not automatically have a contract. So the Lakers decided to offer him a multi-year contract… which means Bronny will indeed play with LeBron James next season!
Dad and son together, for the first time in NBA history. There were only contractual details left to finalize this unprecedented association, now Shams Charania indicates that it is done. The duration of the contract is not disclosed.

This contract seems to definitively seal the fact that LeBron James and Bronny James will share the same ball next season, with the Lakers.
