Former NHL player and TNT hockey analyst Paul Bissonnette was attacked by several men during an altercation at a Scottsdale steakhouse on Sunday evening.

Bissonnette posted a video on friend was ordered to leave.

“You could see in his face that he (the manager) was a little shocked, surprised and stunned,” Bissonnette said. It’s a family restaurant and there was no one who could maybe go help him, so I walked over and grabbed the guy and said, “Sir, if you’re going to assault and harass staff, we’re going to have problems.” »

Bissonnette said members of the group then began throwing punches in a fight that started in the restaurant, then moved to the parking lot and to a nearby store. Bissonnette said he was kicked three times in the head and several punches while landing several blows himself against the seven men.

Scottsdale police arrested six men on charges of assault and disorderly conduct.

Bissonnette played in the NHL from 2008 to 2014, spending his final six seasons with the Arizona Coyotes before turning to a career in commentary.
