INFO LE FIGARO – Fiducial and new private shareholders provide 4 million euros. Now valued at 40 million euros, Stade Toulousain is by far the highest value in the world for a rugby club.

The end of a long saga in shareholder relations between Stade Toulousain and Fiducial. A partner of the team since 2008, the company specializing in business assistance agreed in 2014 to become the club’s first private shareholder, although it remained a minority behind the two founding and historic associations, the Friends of Stade Toulousain and the Stade Toulousain Rugby Association.

At the request of the then president, René Bouscatel, Fiducial had then injected 2 million euros in exchange for 10% of the shareholding, and this, in addition to the significant annual allocation paid as sponsor of Stade Toulousain. A contribution then subject to the signing of a shareholders’ agreement allowing Fiducial to validate, among other things, the arrival of new investors.
