Mohamed Salah opens Liverpool door to Omar Marmoush

Mohamed Salah’s recent statements provide a boost to the arrival of Omar Marmoush at Liverpool.

Salah is ready to leave Liverpool

Mo Salah has clearly revealed what he thinks of his future at Anfield this Sunday. If things leave it at that, then Liverpool will need to bring in several quality players to adequately replace him.

Salah opens the door to Marmoush

The Premier League giant have been heavily linked with a move for Marmoush. Rumors have swirled that the latter is their leading candidate to replace Salah.

Marmoush, a handy sniper

The versatile striker is believed to be worth £50 million and has been outstanding for the Bundesliga club this season. Marmoush has established himself as one of the most reliable goalscorers in European football.

The 25-year-old has scored 14 goals and made ten assists in 17 appearances in all competitions. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will make an official offer to sign him.

Salah will be free in the summer of 2025 and Liverpool have not yet offered him a new contract. The Egyptian could leave in the coming months and his final product will have to be replaced. Recruiting a prolific scorer like Marmoush might not be that difficult.
