PSG, it’s getting clearer for Victor Osimhen

Targeted by PSG this summer, Victor Osimhen is getting closer and closer to an arrival in the French capital.

This is undoubtedly the most complicated transfer window for Paris Saint-Germain since the arrival of QSI. While all eyes are on Germany with Euro 2024, the Parisian club has its sights set on the transfer market. But PSG is surprisingly struggling to convince and has already been turned down for several targets. However, the capital club could soon find a smile again in the Victor Osimhen case.

PSG still thinking about Osimhen

Kylian Mbappé put PSG in a bad spot by deciding to leave this summer. In addition to starting a legal war, the new Real Madrid striker is forcing the Parisian club to strengthen its attack. Paris must indeed compensate for the departure of the Bondynois and has already launched several avenues in this direction.

In recent months, PSG has been interested in attackers like Rafael Leao, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Marcus Rashford, Victor Gyokeres, Julian Alvarez and Victor Osimhen. But things are getting complicated for the Parisian management, particularly in the Kvaratskhelia case, blocked by Naples. Paradoxically, it is rather Victor Osimhen who is getting closer to an arrival in the capital.

Victor Osimhen offers himself to PSG

He was the first player announced in PSG’s sights as soon as Kylian Mbappé’s departure was announced. But the track has since moved away, with the Parisian club having given priority to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. While Naples has vetoed the Georgian’s departure, Paris could reactivate the Victor Osimhen track.

This is good news since the Nigerian is open to leaving Serie A. According to Fabrizio Romano, the former LOSC striker would like to leave Napoli this summer as his contract expires in June 2026. The signals are therefore green for PSG.
