Although the youth of Fribourg do not know an association such as the Fédération vaudoise des jeunesses campagnardes, each region willingly organizes its youth group there. From Wednesday to Sunday, no fewer than 25,000 visitors are expected in Cugy, on the way out of the village towards Payerne, for the 20th edition of the youth group of Broye fribourgeoise. Millions of woodchips and five elements will be there.
To organize their event on the theme of wood, fire, metal, water and earth, the organizing committee is banking on an eclectic program, the highlight of which will be the Sunday procession (2:30 p.m.) and the games between the 37 participating youths, from Saturday. Entertainment for children and lottery on Wednesday, dinner show with Yann Lambiel, Sandrine Viglino, Nathanaël Rochat and Nathalie Devantay the next day and numerous concerts are also on the menu.
