French team: The Belgian star drops a punchline!

The French team will have to fight a battle against its Belgian neighbor on German soil in the 1/8th final of the Euro this Monday. Kevin De Bruyne knows full well that he will have a lot to do against Didier Deschamps’ gang. Moreover, the coach has such an impressive pool in De Bruyne’s eyes that he could field four different starting elevens.
Kevin Of Bruyne (33 years old) is not the maestro he usually is with Manchester City since the kick-off of theEuro 2024. The captain of the Belgian selection had a somewhat tricky group stage, only managing to gain the upper hand over the Romania (2-0) after an opening defeat against Slovakia (0-1) and a draw against’Ukraine (0-0) which earned the Red Devils the whistles of their supporters at the end of the match.

Qualified in the 1/8th final of the’Euro in Germany, the Belgium inherited the French team. This Monday at 6 p.m. on the pitch in Dusseldorf, the two nations that had fought a merciless battle in Russia in the semi-final of the 2018 World Cup (1-0 for the France) meets in order to validate their ticket for the 1/4 final. In interview for the RTBF, Kevin Of Bruyne painted a more than complimentary portrait of the day’s opponent Belgium. “There are a lot of qualities in the French. They can probably make two starting elevens… maybe even four. To beat France, we have to play very, very well. Maybe France has to be a little less.”
“You’re not going to have ten chances against them.”
“And we also have to take our chances. You’re not going to have ten chances against them. The ones you get, you have to score. We’ve had chances in all three games, but we haven’t been effective so far.” he concluded Kevin Of Bruyne to the Belgian media. It now remains to be seen whether the playmaker of the Red Devils will manage to give the tempo to his teammates to go and shock theFrench team.
