“I’m not happy with his work ethic. I don’t think his ultimate goal is to reach the top of the rankings or win Grand Slam tournaments.”, recently released the physical trainer, Christos Fiotakis, when announcing the end of his collaboration with Stefanos Tsitsipas. The latter responded to him before the start of Wimbledon, in remarks granted to SDNA and reported by Sportskeeda.

“He can say whatever he wants. I work hard every day and when I hear someone say that I don’t work, that I’m not dedicated and focused on what I do, it seems a little strange to me. All I do every day is live and breathe tennis. Others may have a different vision of what I do, I’m not going to oppose it. It’s his right to believe what he wants about me. I have higher expectations since the quarter-finals at Roland Garros and I really believe that I can do better. It’s not because I didn’t succeed this year that it’s the end of the world. I will try to have people by my side who are more specialized in tennis.”said on the 11the world champion who will face Taro Daniel for his first match on Tuesday on the London turf.
