Regional 2. Pont-l’Abbé – Scaër: 6-1.

Bigouden coach Christophe Le Goff was delighted with the result, less so with the exclusion of his pillar of defense Ansquer at the end of the match. He had already stood out before, scoring the second goal with a header at the near post (20′). The opener was the work of Quentin Le Gall, who exploited a hesitation in the Scaër defense (8′). After the break, he was then pushed into the area and obtained a penalty converted by Guémas (3-0, 50′). Without dominating outrageously, Pont-l’Abbé continued to exploit Scaër’s defensive absences, scoring three more times. The versatile Affret, well launched, deceived Fiche with a low shot (4-0, 68′). Fiche, usually a central defender, but who played goalkeeper for the occasion, then committed the irreparable thing on Guingueno, the penalty was scored by Guemas again (5-0, 73′). Then, a penalty obtained by Scaër, on a voluntary hand from Ansquer who ruled out a goal ball, was converted by Rico (5-1, 88′). Honor was safe, but Mathis Le Gall further increased the score for the locals with a placed shot (6-1, 89′). “It’s a great victory, but the exclusion of Ansquer for this unfortunate hand spoils the party a little” put Christophe Le Goff into perspective.
