the essential
Determined to recover the points from the victory, the Riscle club launched an online petition to express its disapproval regarding the FFR’s decision to replay its match against Avenir Aturin, marred by a mistake… by the federal representative.
More than 800 signatures (829 precisely, this Thursday, November 21 at the end of the afternoon) collected in four days… The decision of the French Rugby Federation (FFR) to replay the Fédérale 3 match between Avenir Aturin ( Landes) and Riscle go badly on the banks of the Adour.

Considering itself “aggrieved”, the Jeunesse sportive riscloise club launched an online petition on November 18. An action which aims “to contest the decision of the FFR without blaming either the federal representative or the arbitration body”. As a reminder, on October 20, Avenir Aturin, defeated on its lawn by the Gersois, filed a complaint relating to the duration of a white card taken by an opposing player in the 73rd minute for a return to the area of play in the 79th minute. Six minutes of suspension… instead of ten.
“No influence on the game and the score”
If the error is obvious, the JSR puts forward two arguments to defend itself. First, the return of a temporarily suspended player to the field is ordered by the federal representative, the club is therefore “in no way responsible for this action”. Secondly, the player’s return to the pitch for a few minutes had “no influence on the game and the score”.
