Hicham Aït Menna proposes a new direction for Wydad without Houcine Ammouta – Telquel.ma

Face to the Wydadis, Aït Menna unveiled his reform program, including the restructuring of the club and the introduction of new management strategies. Among the changes announced, Aït Menna promised to hire a general director, to enhance the club’s school and to appoint trainers from the ranks of former players.

According to Al3omk, he also introduced the members of his proposed team, which includes long-time collaborators like Saad Dribi, as well as new figures such as Amin Manjra, Hicham Zahir and Jalal Wajou. This list reflects a desire to mix experience and innovation within the club’s management.

Regarding coaching, a joint decision with the members was made not to renew the contract of coach Houcine Ammouta for the next season. Aït Menna aims to open a new chapter for the team with a different approach.

In addition, Aït Menna discussed his plans to increase the club’s revenues, including attracting new sponsors and establishing partnerships with sportswear companies. He also planned to open a jersey store and allocate specific budgets for each branch of the club, which should strengthen Wydad’s financial and operational autonomy.

The club is preparing for its general assembly scheduled for July 3, where a new president will be elected to succeed Abdelmajid Bernaki. This meeting will be crucial for the future of Wydad, which seeks to recover from the challenges of last season, marked by disappointing results both in the championship and in continental competitions. Aït Menna, with its reform proposal, positions itself as a favorite candidate to lead this renewal.
