Montpellier, which won its first five matches, is assured of finishing at the top of group A. Limoges and Toulouse, second in group C and group E, can no longer be caught by their pursuers because they are two points ahead and a favorable goal average. The final day’s matches will, however, be important as the results between qualified teams carry over to the main round, which will be played from February 11 to March 4.
