Julia Simon sets the record straight – Sports Infos – Ski

High level

For this last test before the World Cup, which will begin in less than a fortnight in Kontiolahti, the stars of the French women's team, beaten by Camille Bened in the sprint, were vengeful.

They were very motivated at the start of this mass start which saw Lou Jeanmonnot quickly take the lead with a few seconds ahead of Julia Simon and Justine Braisaz Bouchet.

Everything will be decided on the last shot with Simon, as always impressive, who goes flawless while her rival Jeanmonnot misses a new target.

The multiple world champion then turns on the turbo and goes for the win, with a smile, a big dose of confidence and her excellent 19/20 shooting.

Justine Braisaz Bouchet, returning like a plane to the track, took 2nd place at 24sec, with three shooting errors.

Paula Botet shines once again

Victorious in the sprint contested on Thursday (without the members of team A), the Vosgienne took a good 3rd place this morning with an 18/20. The Vosgienne handily validates its ticket for the IBU Cup.

Lou Jeanmonnot, precise as always, was slower on the track. Despite her 19/20, she came in 4th place at 34sec.

Haut Savoyardes Camille Bened and Jeanne Richard also take their place in the Top 6
