President-elect of the United States, Donald Trump traveled to New York on Saturday, November 16, 2024 to attend the main fights of UFC 309, including the poster between American heavyweights Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic.
Accompanied during his very scripted arrival by Dana White, the head of the organization, the Republican received a loud cheer from the crowd who chanted « USA, USA! ». Elon Musk, his minister “governmental efficiency” followed suit, as did several of his relatives and allies, including Bobby Kennedy Junior, Tulsi Gabbard, Vivek Ramaswamy and the leader of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson. Trump warmly greeted the evening's presenters, including his supporter Joe Rogan, before sitting down at the foot of the cage.

A regular at UFC evenings
Triumphant return to Madison Square Garden, the room where he had organized a controversial meeting less than two weeks before the presidential election where a comedian had made remarks later denounced as racist towards the Puerto Rican population.
Trump is a regular at UFC evenings, where he is regularly acclaimed, always accompanied by the organization's boss Dana White, an active support during the electoral campaign and appeared on stage during his victory speech on November 6.
