It was a tragic scene which took place during the popular reception reserved for Reug Reug, recent world champion.
As hundreds of people gathered to celebrate the wrestler, the party took a dramatic turn. Mamadou Gueye, a young man who came to participate in this event, lost his life in a motorcycle accident that occurred in the heart of the festivities. The accident occurred near Fora. According to witnesses, the young man was riding a motorcycle to follow the champion’s procession when he was involved in a serious accident.

Touched by this tragedy, Reug Reug himself, witnessing the scene, immediately alerted the emergency services. Unfortunately, despite the rapid intervention of the wrestler and the witnesses present, Mamadou Gueye succumbed to his injuries before the arrival of medical teams.
