The stands were full to see the David versus Goliath fight on Saturday at the Saint-Lazare stadium in Limoges. For the first time in its history CS Feytiat, in regional 1, faced a league 2 club, Clermont Foot. On the pitch, achieving the feat of beating a professional team was on everyone’s minds. But despite several chances throughout the match, Nicolas Désir’s players conceded 3 goals to zero facing the Auvergnats.
A third goal in the last minutes of play
After a relatively balanced start to the game, with Clermont relaxing at the end of the first half, the defense against Feytiat gradually solidified. Mehdi Baaloudj scores in the 8th minute, Ousmane Diop doubles the lead in the 59th, before Yohan Magnin finishes with a third and last goal in the 90th minute.
