Sunday June 16, in Saint-Vincent-Lespinasse and only 15 days after the departmental title obtained in Lectoure, the member of the Fleurance club, Julien Gabriel, built on his current form to conquer the title of regional champion of Occitanie Ufolep in the 20 to 29 year old category. Julien Gabriel perfectly mastered all his opponents to win the hill sprint on the 7 breakaways after 80 km at an average of 39 km/h. His next objective remains the French championship on Sunday July 7, in Chablis, in Yonne.

In this competition bringing together the elite of Occitanie cyclists, Jean-Pierre Sibrac (who finished 7th in his category), Quentin Hoarau (who retired due to a mechanical incident), Théodore Kbidi and Manuel Salas (in their respective peloton) also participated.

That same day, Nicolas Hovasse participated in Cap Nore on a 100 km mountain bike route, with 3,200 m of elevation gain, 7 hours 40 minutes of effort and 1,000 participants.

At the current level of the cycling season, the Cyclo VTT Fleurance Ufolep records 1 victory in the Lomagne challenge never acquired before, 4 departmental titles, 2 regional titles in Occitanie, numerous road and mountain bike victories. In addition to all these official successes, there are multiple activities such as regional hikes and club outings always followed by festive events.
