After years of scarcity, marked by the various suspensions, the Moroccan is gradually returning to the continental scene. There FRMRin collaboration with the supervisory ministry and Rugby Africaorganizes, from November 18 to 24, the matches of group B, on behalf of the preliminary round of the qualifiers of the African Rugby Cupplanned for 2025 in Uganda.

The national XV, concentrated in Benslimane to prepare for the competition, will have to win in two direct elimination matches, in order to advance to the next round. The Moroccan rugby players will first face the Botswana Wednesday (12 p.m.) and, in the event of victory, they will face the winner of the opposing match Madagascar au Cameroon.

The Group B competition, which takes place during the festivities of the 49th anniversary of the Green March, will be played on the lawn of the Mohammed Benjelloun Complex in Casablanca. Group A matches take place in parallel Tunisiawith in addition to the host country, the participation of Nigeriaof Ghana and the Zambia. The winner of Group A will face the winner of Group B, in a play-off match, giving access to the final phase of the African Cup, a decisive step in qualifying for the 2027 World Cup.
