The projectile throw of which journalist Ambre Godillon was the victim on Friday in Marseille during the match between OM and Auxerre will be the subject of an in-depth investigation by the LFP.
Olympique de Marseille is risking a lot in the case of journalist Ambre Godillon, victim of a projectile near the eye on Friday during the match against AJ Auxerre at the Vélodrome. The Olympian club has already communicated on this subject, letting it be known that it was in reality an object that fell from a very high stand, which bounced on a tarpaulin before ending up on the face of the journalist from DAZN. A version contradicted by Ambre Godillon, who confirmed on the L'Equipe channel that it was indeed a voluntary throw on the part of a spectator.
The incident is too serious to turn a blind eye to, which is why the LFP disciplinary committee will take up the matter as it indicated in a press release published this Wednesday. “In view of the incident that occurred during the Olympique de Marseille – AJ Auxerre match, the LFP Disciplinary Commission decides to put the case under investigation” published the LFP. OM therefore risks paying dearly for this incident in the weeks to come.
