Kasper Dolberg has scored 8 goals in 11 days and therefore arrives in great form for the Denmark selection. There, he told national media the secret to his rebirth.
In Denmark, they are starting to wonder what else is Kasper Dolberg in Belgium. Obviously, the Anderlecht scorer’s recent figures are dizzying: with two hat-tricks and 8 goals in 11 days over the last three matches in all competitions, the Dane has regained all his splendor.
Dolberg, however, isn’t getting carried away. This is how the Belgian press, after his new hat-trick last Sunday, told him that he was top scorer (read here); the Anderlecht striker doesn’t think too much. “I don’t ask myself any questions. I can’t tell you if I’m in the “form of my life”, I’m just playing my matches”, he puts things into perspective in a recent interview with The tip sheet.
It is indeed difficult to compare Dolberg’s current form, which is above all very effective and not necessarily the most involved in the game, with the phenomenal form of his debut at Ajax. But one thing is certain: he finds the net with his eyes closed.
“It’s a combination of many factors. The team around me is performing better, we’re putting together good performances. I also feel physically and mentally very good,” reveals Kasper Dolberg. His daily and personal life, in particular, is much more fulfilled than in Seville and Nice.
“It is possible that it is different, yes. I see a lot of Danes and Swedes every day, it helps me in my everyday life,” he concedes. In a month, the Danish striker’s twins will celebrate their first birthday: a big change in his life, which he has now assimilated as well as possible.
