(Buffalo, NY) Kent Hughes is adamant. He “never” spoke to former head coach Gerard Gallant.
Posted at 12:58 p.m.
This is what Hughes mentioned in a brief conversation with The Press before the Canadian-Sabres game Monday noon.
Hughes’ comment was in response to information from Georges Laraque. On the airwaves of BPM Sports, the former player claimed that one of his friends saw Martin St-Louis, Kent Hughes and Gerard Gallant talking on Saturday in a cafe in Toronto, where the Habs were playing that evening.
“I never spoke to Gerard Gallant in my life,” Hughes said. The last time I saw him was at the awards ceremony in Las Vegas when he won the Jack Adams. This is not true information. »
Gallant has not officially held a job in the NHL since the New York Rangers let him go at the end of the 2022-2023 season.
