In the suburbs of Casablanca, in Tamaris, a new academy was created a few months ago: the PSG Academy. This Monday, November 11, the club, in the presence of Achraf Hakimi, inaugurated this center for young players, girls or boys, aged 4 to 18 years old. The goal: to offer them high-end training and facilities inspired by Paris-Saint-Germain’s training methodology.
To date, 300 young people have already registered. They had the honor of meeting Achraf Hakimi, PSG defender, who kicked off the first training session. He was welcomed by a guard of honor and answered questions from the young footballers: “For me, it is much more than a simple project, it is a vision of commitment to the development of the children of my country . PSG Academy Maroc is not just a football school, it is a vibrant space where every child has the opportunity to grow, flourish and nourish their dreams,” he said via a press release. .
According to PSG, Morocco is the tenth country in terms of supporters on social networks (4.9 million followers). This center is therefore a means of strengthening the links between Paris-Saint-Germain and Morocco.
The PSG Academy has more than 200 football schools spread across 22 countries and on 4 continents, welcoming more than 45,000 footballers.
