This group will be increased to 42 players after the semi-finals of the Top 14. The French XV will face Argentina twice (July 6 and 13) and Uruguay on July 10.

The French Rugby Federation unveiled, this Monday, the list of 32 players summoned to the CNR Marcoussis from June 17 to 22 for a week of preparation for the tour to South America. Logically, the players who participate in the semi-finals of the Top 14 (Toulouse, La Rochelle, UBB, Stade Français) are not called up. Among the notable returns, scrum half Baptiste Serin (Toulon) and fly-half Louis Carbonel (Montpellier, future Stade Français) were recalled by Fabien Galthié and his staff. Other “former players” who are returning to the French team: fullback Melvyn Jaminet (Toulon) and center Arthur Vincent (MHR).

Among the forwards selected, we will note the presence of young Hugo Auradou (Pau), Baptiste Jauneau (ASM) and Lenni Mouchi (Montpellier), U20 world champions last summer. Other neophytes, the second or third line Mickaël Guillard (Lyon), the third line Yann Peysson (Castres) and the pillars Matis Perchaud (Bayonne), Giorgi Beria (Clermont), Tevita Tatafu (Bayonne). The latter, of Tongan origin, will only be eligible for France from November, according to information from South West. Among the backs, we find the young winger or fullback Théo Attissogbé (Pau), impressive this season, and the center Antoine Frisch, who will leave Munster to join Toulon.

At the end of the Top 14 semi-finals which take place Friday and Saturday at Matmut Atlantique, the French group will be increased to 42 players.
