R1: Pluvigner sanctioned, Ginglin-Cesson in control

R1. Pluvigner – Ginglin-Cesson: 2-5

In a punctuated start by two teams wanting to add intensity, Briochins superior in offensive animation were nevertheless trapped in the first Pluvignes sequence because Serin found the opening with a free kick (1-0, 7′).

The second period weighs down Pluvigner

The Morbihannais’ advantage did not last and, during a Briochin highlight, the goalkeeper Ortega released three consecutive hot balls (26′). Berteli finally equalized for Ginglin-Cesson (1-1, 39′) but, just before the break, Goba gave his team the advantage again with a powerful strike (2-1, 44′). A few seconds later, this same Goba received a second severe warning and found himself out (45’+4). Then, after the break, it was Hervé who took the door, leaving Pluvigner on nine (68′). Yet another hard blow for the locals because Ginglin-Cesson had taken the lead a few minutes earlier through Richard (2-2, 54′) then Soba (2-3, 60′).

More fluid, faster, the Costarmoricans had control and widened the gap a little further in an almost anecdotal end to the match for the Kériolets: Richard, author of a double (2-4, 78′) and Ménard (2- 5, 87′). “We knew what to expect and we were picked up cold, then we knew how to show patience and serenity,” underlined, relieved, the Briochin coach Patrick Papin.

BUTS. Pluvigner: Serin (7′), Goba (44′); Ginglin-Cesson: Berteli (39′), Richard (54′, 78′), Soba (60′), Menard (87′).

Warnings. Pluvigner: Goba (45’+3, 45’+4); Ginglin-Cesson: Soba (62′).

Exclusion : Pluvigner: Goba (45’+4), Hervé (68′).
