Mercato: OM is active for two transfers, it’s a cold shower

It is very likely that in the coming days, Roberto De Zerbi will be officially named OM coach. However, the Italian was not the big favorite for the position until recently. Indeed, Pablo Longoria seemed to have chosen Sergio Conceição and the latter saw himself joining Marseille, to the point of already working on the outlines of his squad.
A little earlier in the year, in February, theOM was at its worst. The Marseille club had a string of poor results which were right to Gennaro Gattuso. Jean-Louis Gasset had then disembarked at Marseille to try to improve the situation, but he did not actually succeed.
OM were thinking of Conceição to replace Gasset
After his mission of a few months at theOM, Jean-Louis Gasset decided to bow out and end his coaching career. A meeting even took place between the two men. Finally, the Portuguese should not arrive at Marseillesince Roberto DeZerbi is now the favorite.
Conceição had started to think about certain recruits for OM

He and his staff had notably checked the name of Lilian Brassier or else Lorenz Assignon. Transfers which should therefore not take place, unless Roberto DeZerbi is also tempted by the profiles of the two defenders.
