Grenoble’s Senegalese striker, Pape Meïssa Ba, was preselected, for the second consecutive time, for the trophy of Best Player of the Month for October in French Ligue 2, a prize awarded by the National Union of Professional Footballers ( France).
The Senegalese striker narrowly missed the best player trophy in September in favor of his compatriot from Metz, the neo-Lion Cheikh Tidiane Sabaly.
The current top scorer in Ligue 2, taking advantage of his great efficiency in front of goal, is having a good start to the season, with a total of nine goals to his name.
Ba continues his tenure and does not give up his ambition to finish top scorer for the 2024-2025 season, even if he remained silent during the last two days of the championship. For the moment, the 27-year-old, whose team is in 8th place in the rankings, will try to win the player of the month trophy rewarding his current good form, the result of good pre-winter preparation.
Pape Meïssa Ba is nominated at the same time as the Algerian from Paris Fc, Ilan Kebbal, and the young Frenchman Eli Junior Kroupi from Lorient.
