LThe national team is housed in Group A which also includes South Sudan, DR Congo and Mali. The four selections will be in the race for three qualification tickets to the next decisive and qualifying phase for the next CAN. To this end, the national coach, Labib Al Hamrani summoned 20 players to take part in this training course.
Note that the FRMBB has submitted an application to the African Basketball Confederation with a view to hosting the second phase of these qualifiers, which will take place next February. Here is the list of players selected for this course:
