Slocated at Puerta del Sol, in the heart of the Spanish capital, the “Legends: Home of Football” museum offers its visitors an exceptional collection of the greatest relics that bear witness to “the greatest passion created by man: football”.
Spreading over an area of 4200 m2 spread over 7 floors, the museum of football legends allows aficionados of this sport to admire the jerseys worn during official matches by players such as Diego Maradona, Pelé, Johan Cruyff, Alfredo Di Stéfano, Lionel Messi, Zinédine Zidane, Andrès Iniesta, Cristiano Ronaldo… or even Yassine Bounou.
In a statement to MAP, the museum’s communications director, Paola Herrera Rodriguez, indicated that “the Football Legends Museum recognizes Yassine Bounou as one of the most important players in Morocco’s historic epic during the Qatar World Cup in 2022, with a well-deserved fourth place, which is reflected in this jersey that ‘wore the Atlas Lions goalkeeper during the round of 16 match against Spain”.
“For us, Yassine Bounou also represents African pride, being one of the legends of this continent and of Morocco”, she underlined, recalling the remarkable performances of the Atlas Lions goalkeeper both in the Spanish La Liga and in the Europa League with Sevilla FC.
