If next season is already being prepared for the senior teams, the young Wolves are enjoying their last meetings.

After sharing and celebrating the title of French Champions of their Elite 2 elders, the graduates of the Villefranche XIII Aveyron Youth School honored new commitments in competition or participation.

Inter Committees U 13

Recently, the Lot-Aveyron selection of U 13s participated in the inter-committees which took place in Aussillon. In this competition which notably brought together the selections of Aude and Pays Catalan, two strongholds of rugby union, the Aveyro-Lotois particularly performed well: at the end of the meetings they remained undefeated and thus won the National Rugby 9 Challenge. A great performance from these young players and which follows the victory of the U 15s last season in this same challenge. And as a reward never comes alone, Pablo Piéron was crowned best player of the tournament and the women’s Lennie Fleuret and Camille Pégourié were also honored.

Occitanie U 17 selection

Louis Tranier participated in the Occitanie U17 preselection in Albi, a gathering which brings together the regional hopes of the discipline.

Meeting and training with Toulouse Olympique players

It was this Wednesday, June 5, that the U 9, U 11 and U 13 shared a great moment on the Cahors field with the professional players from Toulouse Olympique. Engaged in the Championship, Toulouse Olympique is in the fight to access the Super League in order to find the Catalan Dragons but the club does not forget to share its experience with other clubs. So, this Wednesday, the entire professional workforce traveled to Cahors for training led by the pro players, for of course a series of signings and to attend the training of the Toulouse residents. A great experience for all these young graduates.
