Closed for several months for renovations, especially in view of the 2025 African Cup of Nations which the Kingdom will host from December 21, 2024 to December 18, 2026, the Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca will soon have a facelift.

Today, as the Le360 team noticed on site, we are in the last phase of this renovation operation with the installation of new numbered seats.

According to sources within the City Council, “Donor” should reopen its doors next January to host the matches of Wydad and Raja de Casablanca.

Shovel construction sites

A great relief for the two flagship clubs of the economic metropolis, which have become STFs (without a fixed stadium) by constantly looking for a stadium to host their home matches.

The rehabilitation of the Mohammed V Complex aimed to increase the capacity of the stadium, the rehabilitation of the press stand and the VIP stand, the installation of new numbered seats as well as the renovation of the iron fence.

As a reminder, the other stadiums of the Kingdom (Grand stadium of Tangier, Moulay Abdellah Complex of Rabat, Sports complex of Fez, Grand stadium of Agadir and the Grand stadium of Marrakech), designated to host the CAN 2025 matches, are also the subject of renovation.
