Olympique de Marseille will not be not sanctioned for homophobic songs chanted in the stands of the Vélodrome stadium during the Clasico against PSG on October 27. The disciplinary committee of the Professional Football League considered that the chants were “too stealthy and their location remains unclear.” A decision which provoked the anger of the “Stop homophobia” and “Rouge Direct” collectives. Complaints were also filed the day after the meeting against the LFP and the broadcaster DAZN, in connection with the Stop Homophobia association. Before kick-off, supporters sang several times: “We have to kill these p***ing Parisians”, “Paris, Paris, we’re fucking you”.
