The joint appeals committee of the Professional League (LFP) has once again ordered Paris Saint-Germain to pay the 55 million euros in unpaid salaries and bonuses claimed by its former star Kylian Mbappé, which is refused the club again, AFP learned on Friday from a source close to the matter.

The impasse continues between the two parties: on the one hand the player refuses mediation and on the other PSG will not pay the 55 million euros, according to the source, while the joint appeals committee of the LFP ordered the payment as requested by the LFP legal commission.

This Friday decision is not binding on the club, which is awaiting a court decision before a competent court, i.e. an industrial tribunal.

Contacted, the entourage of the French star did not respond immediately.

In the dispute between him and PSG, the captain of the team is demanding 55 million euros in unpaid salaries and other bonuses from his former club.

The conflict between the two parties finds its source in the status of an agreement reached in August 2023 between the attacker and the management of PSG.

Seized by the Blues striker, the LFP legal commission recommended mediation last month but, faced with the player’s refusal, it immediately asked PSG to pay the 55 million within a week, a decision against which the club had appealed.

The joint appeals committee therefore ordered the same thing, namely the payment of 55 million euros.

There are still several appeals: to the French Football Federation (FFF), on which the higher appeal commission depends, then to an administrative court with conciliation before the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF). Kylian Mbappé can also contact UEFA.
