Algeria Football – During the qualifications for the CAF CAN 2025, the coach of Morocco, Walid Regragui, receives excellent news concerning his executives.
The coach of the Morocco team, Walid Regragui, is preparing to announce a new list for the next matches of the Atlas Lions, who will face Gabon and Lesotho on November 15 and 18 during the qualifiers at CAF CAN 2025. These matches, counting for the fifth and sixth days of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, will take place in Morocco.
Adjustments are expected compared to the previous list, particularly due to the absences of certain key players. Amine Adli, the Bayer Leverkusen striker, will be forced to miss these matches after a broken leg, which requires an operation and keeps him away from the field until January 2025. Likewise, Youssef Belammari of Raja Club Athletic is injured following a double fracture, which also put him out of competition for several weeks.
However, Regragui will be able to count on valuable reinforcements. Noussair Mazraoui, currently in-form with Manchester United, joins the squad after some remarkable performances, including an award as best player in the recent match against Chelsea. Other players like Yahya Attiat-Allah, Brahim Diaz and Amir Richardson are also expected to strengthen the Moroccan ranks.
