Kyshawn George reached the 20-point mark for the first time, in his sixth game in the NBA.

The 20 units of the Valais ‘rookie’, however, were not enough for the Wizards, beaten 125-112 by the Golden State Warriors on Monday in Washington.

Challenging the best shooter in history Stephen Curry, back after missing three matches due to injury, visibly transcended Kyshawn George. The 20-year-old winger made 6 of his 17 3-point shots, while he posted a sad 2/22 behind the arc in all of the previous five matches!

George, who had exceeded 10 points only once so far (11 scored last Wednesday against Clint Capela’s Hawks), also scored 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 interception. He spent no less than 38 minutes on the floor, finishing with a differential of -4.

Kyshawn George finished second in scoring on his team behind Jordan Poole (24 points). For Golden State, Stephen Curry accumulated 24 points (with a 4/9 3-pointer) and 6 assists to allow the Californian franchise to pick up a sixth success in seven matches, the fourth in a row.

Clint Capela’s Hawks also suffered defeat on Monday, losing by 30 points to defending champion Boston (123-93). And the Geneva interior suffered against the Celtics: lined up for barely 18′, he only managed 2 points and 5 rebounds for a differential of -17. Difficult evening also for Atlanta leader Trae Young, also author of only 2 points.
