Darcy Kuemper stopped 16 shots to earn his first shutout in a Kings uniform, who improved to 7-3-3 this season.

Kevin Fiala and Adrian Kempe, in an empty net, also scored. Kempe added an assist.

Brandt Clarke also had an assist, his 11e of the countryside. The 21-year-old defenseman has 12 points in 13 games this season.

Juuse Saros, who made 24 saves, has lost three of his last four starts.

The Predators (4-7-1) were shut out for the second time this season. They lost 3-0 to the Detroit Red Wings on October 12.

Jake Allen made 31 saves against the New Jersey Devils

Jake Allen made 31 saves and the New Jersey Devils blanked the Edmonton Oilers 3-0.

It was a 26e career shutout for Allen and his second of the season, in five games.

Jesper Bratt had a goal and an assist for the Devils, who have won three of their last four outings after going through a four-game losing streak.

Stefan Noesen and Timo Meier also threaded the needle for the New Jersey team.

The Oilers saw their winning streak cut to two. Calvin Pickard stopped 13 pucks in a losing cause.

Leon Draisaitl was held off the scoresheet after recording six points in his last two games and nine in his last four.
