On Sunday, Romelu Lukaku did not roar with pleasure at the Maradona stadium in Naples. The Red Devil remained silent and his team was even beaten 0-3 by Atalanta Bergamo. A few days earlier, the Naples zoo had paid him a nice tribute by naming the little jaguar born on October 31 “Romelu”. Romelu, like his mother Ananga and his father Ares, has a very particular characteristic: his coat is completely black, due to a genetic mutation called melanism. “Romelu has already become a star,” we rejoice at the zoo.
Seventeen months ago, another black jaguar was born in the same zoo, to the same parents who form the only couple to have this same color in Italy. And guess what we named him? “Victor”, the first name of Osimhen, the former Charleroi striker who brought happiness to the Naples club that year. He had also won the “scudetto”, the shield given to the champion of Italy.
