Gallantry obliges, we begin with the winning return of Yasmine Kabbaj who has just won, since the qualifiers, the ITF World Tennis Tour W15 (15,000 dollars) from Heraklion in Greece after her victory, in the final, against the Lithuanian and seeded n°6, Klaudija Bubelyte, with a score of 6/3.7/6 [6].
For his part and since his defeats in the Davis Cup against Monaco for the Play-offs of World Group II which was played at RTCMarrakech, the national n°1, Elliot Benchetrit, had resumed his pilgrim’s stick to participate in several tournaments ITF World Tennis Tour with checkered results, both in singles and doubles. It was during his recent visit to China that he managed to do better.
Indeed, during the first ITF M25 ($25,000) in Huzhou (October 21 to 27), Elliot was stopped in the quarter by the No. 1 of the tournament, the Chinese Bai Yan, and in the doubles semi-final. It was during the second ITF M25 of Qian Daohu (from October 28 to November 3) that the national n°1 (seeded n°6) distinguished himself by winning, in the final, the Chinese and n°1, Sun Fajing, by 6/3.6/2 after eliminating, in the semi-final, the Russian Aliaksandr Liaonenka, by 6/1.6/4.
So, all our congratulations to our two compatriots for these two exploits while wishing them good luck.
