On the program for the week in blue: Humbert’s Parisian epic, Jeanjean’s “back to back”, a double in Monastir and a series of junior victories.
ATP / Challenger: an almost magical week for Humbert
The final didn’t go as hoped but Ugo Humbert underlined it: he experienced an “unforgettable” tournament at the Rolex Paris Masters. Messin reached the final of a Masters 1000 for the first time, at home, and after a memorable victory against Carlos Alcaraz in the round of 16. Ugo is 14th (+4) in the ATP this Monday.
The Parisian tournament confirmed that, in addition to Humbert’s results, the blue youth – Arthur Son (20e), Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (30e, +1), Arthur Cazaux (67th, +18) – had very good days ahead of her. They all reached the round of 16, just like Adrian Mannarino et Arthur Rinderknech.
Also note a victory on the Challenger circuit, that in doubles of Florent Bax in Brazzaville alongside the Indian Singh.
ITF: 10 out of 10 for Jeanjean
Léolia Jeanjean continues its French series. Already victorious in Poitiers, the Stade Clermontois player triumphed at the “$50,000” in Nantes after a nice victory in the final over Sara Cakarevic. Jeanjean is now at 10 consecutive victories. Note that finalist Sara Cakarevic obtains her best career ranking, since she enters the top 300 for the first time (284th).
Big “Blue” sky in Tunisia. During the women’s tournament ($15,000), Ksenia Efremova dominated in the final Nina Radovanovic. This is already the 3rd professional career for the 15-year-old French nugget.
In the gentlemen table ($15,000), Lucas Poullain got the better of his compatriot in the final Sean Cuenin. This is the first title this season and the 7th career for the SNUC player. In doubles, victory went to Maxence Beauge / Mathieu Scaglia.
Already a 5th title this season for Clement Chidekh ! The resident of TC Marignan won the “$25,000” in Norwich (Great Britain), notably after a victory over And Added in semis.
