For Belgian players, this season is rather mixed, with good and less good performances alternating.
This weekend, there is one who has regained his good habits after having been more discreet during the last meetings. In a match which was particularly important, he performed at a high level.
The Red Devil reveals himself
In Naples, Charles De Ketelaere started again and even if he did not find the path to goal, he allowed his teammates to make the difference. The Italian press is not wrong about it. “He seems to combine little, even missing two balloons, but the illusion lasts ten minutes”, writes thus Tuttomercatoweb.
“His pass for Lookman, his opening score for 2-0: in the open area, he looks like Ilicic, and he even distributes the ball to Pasalic, but the Croatian does not exploit it,” adds the Italian media, which gives it a score of 7.
Decisive in the national team?
This season, De Ketelaere has scored two goals and provided five assists in the league. On the European scene, he has not yet been decisive although he has played twice for an hour and once for half an hour.
For De Ketelaere and his team, there is now a trip to Stuttgart in the Champions League. There will then be a duel against Udinese just before the new international meeting.
The Belgian player will therefore try to confirm his position at the club, hoping to have playing time with Domenico Tedesco as well. The Red Devil could play an important role during the two meetings against Israel and Italy. His knowledge of Italian football would obviously be a plus against Squadra Azzurra at the King Baudouin stadium, which will be sold out.
