Unable to get a point in his last three games, Connor Bedard ended this streak Sunday with three assists during the Chicago Blackhawks’ 4-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks at the Honda Center.
The trip to California hadn’t been very productive for the 19-year-old so far. Bedard was shut out in San Jose and Los Angeles, but he and his teammates were more inspired in Anaheim.

Bedard was complicit in the successes of Isaac Phillips, Seth Jones and Ryan Donato. He also did all the work for the latter, the American only needing to push a puck into an empty cage that goalkeeper Lukas Dostal had failed to control.
With this great harvest, Bedard has 12 points in 13 games.
Much of the credit for the victory goes to Blackhawks goaltender Arvid Soderblom, who blocked 37 pucks. Brock McGinn and Mason McTavish thwarted him in the third period.
