The Delavallée surprise
Faced with injuries to his two goalkeepers, Mohamed Koné and Théo Defourny, Rik De Mil was forced to throw a new kid into the deep end. Martin Delavallée, 20 years old, thus experienced his first tenure between the poles of Sporting. And for the occasion, the young doorman made a strong impression. During a first period clearly dominated by Cercle, Delavallée was decisive, deflecting with the tips of his gloves a curled shot from Nazinho (27th) as well as two attempts from Alan Minda (39th).
Apart from these few occasions, the game is not very exciting.
