Gatineau Londres defender Justin Blais is injured, but seems to be doing well following the fight that sent him to the hospital and ended the match between his team and the Baie-Comeau Drakkar on Friday.

Blais, 17, hit his head on the ice during a fight. He then suffered convulsions. The young man was taken to hospital to undergo tests, being alert and responsive during the process.

On Saturday morning, the Olympics published a photo on the X network of the young man, who showed facial injuries and was wearing a cervical collar, but who nevertheless had a smile.

“With his agreement, Justin Blais wanted to thank our fans and all those across the QMJHL for the kind words,” we can read in the publication.
