“I’m totally overwhelmed by the number of fans,” Ohtani said. It’s been an incredible year. I’m so happy I was able to contribute. Everyone has been so welcoming. »
Walker Buehler, who pitched in the ninth inning in Wednesday’s deciding game, wore Orel Hershiser’s jersey during the 1988 World Series.
“It’s crazy, my friend. I love it,” said outfielder Teoscar Hernández.
The parade took place on the day the 64 would have taken placee anniversary of Fernando Valenzuela.
National Cy Young winner and rookie of the year in 1981, the Mexican passed away three days before the start of the World Series.
