This weekend, the Druelle FC pennant team played a very important game to ensure its maintenance in R2 by going against Soues Cigogne (Hautes-Pyrénées) on the Revel field. After an early start and a snack on the shores of Lake Saint-Ferréol, we had to join Revel for the match.
Good start to the match for the oranges and blacks of Laurent Poujol who approached the match with determination. But in the 34th minute, on a counter, the opposing number 11, very fast, deceives the Aveyron goalkeeper. In the second half, despite the returns of Chevignon, Cayla and Combes and the performance of goalkeeper Ryngiliewicz who made multiple stops, the Aveyronnais who sent long balls to Viargues, Larqué and Faucon did not succeed. The game gets tougher and the referee distributes five cards to each team. The score will remain there and we will have to put on the warm-up blue for one last chance on Saturday June 8 in Muret against Trèbes (Aude).
