José Mourinho had to be taken off the training ground on Thursday while leading a ball-keeping session. Involuntarily tackled in the ankle, the “Special One” then chastised the person responsible on his social networks.

Known for being very involved in the daily work of his team, José Mourinho, currently coach of Fenerbahçe in Turkey, perhaps went a little far by wanting to participate in training this Thursday among his players. After one of his players took a crutch on his ankle, the “Special One” was escorted off the field.

In the video, we can see that the Portuguese technician was on the pitch while his players were carrying out a conservation exercise. Dressed in black, like one of the two opposing teams on the field, José Mourinho was hit by one of his players. He had to be evacuated off the field, limping due to the blow to his ankle.

“Well done!”

The episode ended up making the “Special One” smile, since it was José Mourinho himself who posted the video of this involuntary gesture by Ismail Yukseke, laughing on his social networks: “Lesson for young coaches: never wear the same color as the players… They may pass the ball to you… or kick you in the back.” In comments, Nemanja Matic responds with crying laughing emojis: “Well done!”

Mourinho then posted a photo of him having his foot treated where he blames the person responsible for his injury, but also reassures about his state of health: “It’s all good Isma, I’m ready for Sunday!” Fenerbahçe will travel to Trabzonspor on Sunday, currently 9th in the Turkish championship.
