After the domestic violence of which two of its players, ASBH, are accused, the Béziers rugby club is shaken by a new affair.
Samuel Marques, scrum half of the team, is summoned this Tuesday, October 29, 2024 before the disciplinary committee of the National Rugby Line (LNR) for his behavior during Rugby Night on September 23, 2024 in Paris.
That evening, the player took the stage at the Olympia to receive the trophy for best ProD2 player for the 2023-2024 season. Very, even too happy to have obtained this trophy, the player was, according to witnesses, also “very tipsy”at the reception following the event. Wishing to order alcohol again from a stand that did not serve it, he allegedly attacked a waitress by throwing a glass in her face, before spitting on her.
According to our information, the player, summoned by the leaders of his club, has already received financial sanctions.
Tuesday October 29, he will have to answer for his behavior before the LNR seized for “bad behavior on the part of a player during Rugby Night”.
Samuel Marques risks up to 10 weeks of suspension from the league exasperated by these third halves and the slip-ups which continue to fuel the news section.
