Max Verstappen (Red Bull) will start from pole position on Saturday for the sprint race of the United States Grand Prix, the 19th of the 24 rounds of the Formula 1 world championship. Friday at the end of qualifying for this race, the Dutchman signed the best time (1: 32.833) at the end of the 5.513 kilometers of the Circuit of the Americas.

Max Verstappen will start from the front row with Briton George Russell (Mercedes). The second row will be made up of Monegasque Charles Leclerc (Ferrari). The Briton Lando Norris (McLaren) and the Spaniard Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) will form the third row.

Australian Oscar Piastri (McLaren) experienced an unpleasant surprise in Q1 with an early elimination, following a failure to respect track limits, and a 16th place on the starting grid on Saturday.

Note that Sergio Perez (Red Bull) failed to qualify for Q3 and will start from 11th place on the grid.

The start of the sprint race will be given on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. (Belgian time) before qualifying for the Grand Prix kicks off at 12:00 a.m. (Belgian time). The drivers will start the GP on Sunday at 9:00 p.m. (Belgian time).
